Please sign up in this thread if you can participate, and watch here for the evolving plan!

In Match #4 we will put all of our forces over the line so that we can eliminate all of the Central targets. Because the spads are much faster I see them searching the far east and the pups searching the western side of enemy territory, and providing bombers with cover over the mud when available.

In mission 3 we failed to find any of their rolling stock (train and convoy). We need to complete these as well as the announced missions to take control of the final battle. Am thinking myself and another will be stationed in the backfield with recon planes and some ordnance. With no specific target we can scout for the camp and the rolling stock, be available if another pilot finds these targets and calls them in, or be available in case one of the assigned targets is not completed.

As with last week, Green pilots should express interest in the targets they want to be responsible for.

April 10: No42 v JG1, Mission 4 Week4p11

2-seater Mission specs
1 x Active Recon Targets (staging areas – camps)
The target appears as an Airdrome but without the tan landing area. The active target has a vehicle moving about in close proximity. The Allied target has a tank. The German target has a truck. The aircraft must pass over the recon target at an altitude above 1500m (4920') and less than 2500m (8200'). The plane must be within 1 km horizontal distance.

Bridge (announced in game)
The bridge is designated by an active artillery truck on the bridge. Destroying 3 spans is considered success. The bridge can be destroyed without killing the truck. Killing the truck activates the bridge destruction subtitle at the end of session. Since it is not essential to kill the truck, a photo of the bridge with 3 spans down can be submitted for confirmation. The active location is displayed by subtitle during the first 10 minutes of the game.

Artillery recon (announced in game)
To start the mission, a designated arty 2 seater must pass over a friendly gun position. The 2 seater must be within 500m horizontal and between 750m (2460') and 1250m (4100') in altitude. The observer then proceeds to the target as ordered and passes within 1000m to observe the target. The guns will fire for 2 minutes. The active location is displayed by subtitle during the first 10 minutes of the game.

Supply ship (announced in game)
The barge is straight forward and has an icon on the map. There are 4 icons each with a different label. The active location is displayed by subtitle during the first 10 minutes of the game.

Supply Train (rolling)
The train is considered killed when the engine is destroyed. This activates the train destroyed subtitle at the end of session. This target can be killed with guns.

Supply Column (rolling)
The supply column is 4 vehicles, one of which is an artillery truck. All 4 trucks must be destroyed to activate the Supply column destroyed subtitle at the end of session. This target can be killed with guns.

In

Wouldn't mind taking a pup and buzzing all the RR tracks until I kill the train. Unless they locate the train and perch on top of it I can probably go undetected. Be happy to fly all the tracks in the combat area prior to the game. If someone can provide me with a map highlighting the roads the trucks might use I'll do the same prep for that as mission 2. Of course I'd be calling in assistance on the trucks.
