| S! All I put together some pictures of the end of session and the plane tallies. I included Air to Air victories that popped up in chat. I missed a couple while i was doing my 5 minute wait between refly. That is why there are a couple of German air victories that have unknown time and unknown enemies. It was a fight right around half way through. We had a couple of guys crash. Counts as deaths for Germans but not as victories for any Allied because no bullets in them. | S! All Trying to get a little more organized. I set up a page to centralize the results with links to the individual session details. Unfortunately the parser logs do not always show someone that was shot down or rather who shot down who. If people want to let me know who they shot down, I will update the details. Please point out any discrepancies so they can be corrected. Thanks [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| Actually it was odd you guys had 2 victories then the mission ended and it gave you 2 more so I assume that it was due to the game forcing users to disconnect from the session which also could cause the session not to know who the target was.
The way kills are tallied in this game still eludes me.
Our stats were all buggered up due to a previous mission that didn't end gracefully.

yes the game is a little strange in the way it decides what is a shootdown, death, crash.
It listed Zed, Lexx, 6Guns as being dead and Space being shot down.
I looked at the parser logs and
20:29:35 No.42_Zed killed 20:36:31 No.42_6Guns killed 20:46:30 No.42_Lexx crashed dead
They all happen in the first hour.
Then there is: 22:06:59 No.42_Space captured
Looks like space was captured with only 22 seconds left. 22:07:21 was server stop time. I am not sure why he ditched in enemy teritory. The logs do not list who was shooting, him if anyone. Could have been ground fire? Bad engine? No cashews? Not sure. That time would have been while scores were being displayed.
Normally , I screenshot all the text messages just to compare the logs to what you see in game. Unfortuantely, I was in a stockade for most of the game due to No.42_Awdy, may his fuel be full of sugar and his wing riddled with termites.

| Huh well I guess it could be some oddity in the way the victories were displayed on my end too all I saw were the victories you had v me and Skeeter both of which were due to running out of fuel.
This one is odd to;
20:41:49 JG1_Wurger_J11 Shot down No.42-Skeeter KIA
Ill have to follow up with Skeeter but I know he was alive up to the last few min of the mission.

Hi Hawg, I believe the Wurger / Skeetr shootdown is from Mission 1. Skeetr is alive at the end of Mission 2 - having ditched somewhere in British lines. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The main source of shootdowns and kills is the end game tally displyed after the game goes down. This is crossreferenced with your parser stats. Ingame chat is also screenshot. This is not a complete record but what is available is crossreferenced with the end game tally and parser. Some times I will look to our pilots After Arction Reports to try and clear something up.
While the pilot shoot downs do not contribute to the results of the session, many people like to know who shot who.
I updated the session 1 and session 2 detail pages with the available chat screenshots in case you would like to see. The session 2 log is lower resolution and a little hard to see.
Please remember these are not complete but are definitive for the information they offer.

Well, Hooray for the new patch.
Predictions:
1. We will probably have some glitches toninght as some people will not get the message about the patch.
2. Someone will give Flatspin some Depends befor next patch.

| S! All
It took a while. There are a couple of Beta dogfight config files in the data folder. They look loke the 'Old' config files. I have not done anything with them. I think they were left in, in error.
The 'stock' looking config file was overwriten to accomodate the new server mods/scoring system. It has a new line added. Just under the //Mission settings, true - option on, false - option off
And above the Objecticon=0 line is a new line:
Preset=2
2 is for Expert mode 1 is Normal 0 is for custom.
I have set all JG1 to Preset =2. Subtitles on and warmed up engines.
In the Multiplayer selection screen you will see a number to the left of the silver trophy cup. It will be a Zero, the number one or a 1.5
Mouse over and it will list custom, normal or expert.

I have some of the results and list of those who flew but not all. I would be very gratefull if you would send me any you have. We want to build a Hall of heros or Valhalla or something, showing the tourneys and listing the people.
Thank you very much. | |
