2014 "No Man's LAN" Party Public info and Pics

Zed, Hawg, Stubby, Flat and Rooster have all checked in and have set up their rigs!

Rooster brought a Pennsylvania Lager "Yuengling", Hawg brought a Florida IPA "Jai Alai" and a Brown Ale "Maduro". I brought some Grand Rapids, MI Founder's "Centennial IPA". I also brought a couple specialty Brewery Vivant "Big Red Coq" for Rooster (it's a Red Ale with a rooster logo...you figure it out) and BV's "Undertaker" for Zed.

Oh man!! Looks like fun boys!! I miss our Tailhook and it's only been a week since it ended. Hope the year goes by fast because it's the best time!! Have a great time guys!! Don't let Hawg win everything. Someone smack Flats azz for me, I'm sure he deserves it ;)

Flat and Stubby are back in the rear with the gear.

That didn't sound right...


We did see the BH guys and saw Matthias and Vonhippel as well as some IL2 AVG guys. Limey drove down for Dawn Patrol and met us. Even ran into Axegrinder...an Old Fokker and Wing Walker.

Good to meet people face-to-face that we've known for so long.

The hotel we stayed at has a conference room that holds ~90 people. We talked about having a multi-squad LAN Party there in '16. It'd be great to have No.42, BH, J5, WW...and whoever fill that conference room for a massive LAN!

Back home again after an extra day of airline woes! Many thanks to Warren for rescuing me, to Zed for the multiple rides to the airport and insisting I crash at his place, and Tiger for helping me score entry to the banquet!

And to everybody for making a rather simple weekend into a truly memorable experience! I am already looking forward to '18! ... and whatever we can scrape up between here and there. Oh, and next time I will make arrangements to have a machine to fly, even it I have to give Rooster a roofie and take his over.
