| This map will run on days that No.42 Squadron doesn't run its regular training missions (Mondays and Wednesdays at 8pm EST). This is for the FEOW III community, both Entente and Central Powers pilots are welcome to fly this map to hone their skills and get familiar with the terrain on the "B" Front. It is password protected. The password will be the password used for the last official mission flown: please check with the FEOW Forums or your squad's Forums or leaders to get the password. Do NOT share it here!
The map is based on the Mission 1 Map, with an updated planeset for the next mission to be played.
What is the same:
- The front will move dynamically just like in the actual mission when you fly Artillery Spotting missions.
What has changed:
- The season at the front is different than what you will find in the real mission.
- The bases have unlimited number of planes according to the planeset for the upcoming mission, ie: every Entente base in Mission 3 practice will have unlimited Spad VII 150, N.17CR, N.17 GBR, Sopwith Pup, Re-8 and Fe2b; Central bases are set up the same with their available planes. This removes the ability to fly a practice mission and determine that Base "A" has "X" amount of Albatross D.II's at it, etc.
- The factory locations or names and/or what they were building have all been shuffled. This way you cannot fly a recon mission on this practice map and get the true intel for official FEOW missions.
