UGH!

Yesterday was carpet shampooing day and the house CIC shampooed my 'Man Cave'. She accidentally broke my TrackClip Pro.

I contacted TrackIR support noting that on the forum the LED boom swivel joint is very weak and has failed for many users. I was informed by support that my TrackIR 5 has been out of warranty for 3 1/2 years. TrackClip Pro is a $35.00 part + shipping and could not be warranted but....they sent me a Promo code for $15.00 off a new one. This is above and beyond. I am pleased enough and will be getting the new and improved version of the TrackClip Pro.

Point if you have this problem, don't hesitate to contact them. Also there are a variety of 'Home Repairs' available on the net!

EDIT: Got it working with patience and some good ol' electrical tape :)

And yes that little clip is a horribly weak device.
