Excellent! Did you do some post-production on those to "age" them, they look really, really, good, especially the Camel.

The art of war is of vital importance to the State. It is a matter of life and death, a road either to
safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry which can on no account be neglected.

Thanks Fidd, yep there is post-production on these... I just close my eyes and start clicking on buttons, sometimes things work out, and sometimes not. :)

Take and post as many of these as you like. I've been playing air-combat sims since '92, and I profoundly regret not taking more to remember events and fellow players by, and now those programs will no longer run on modern pc's.....

Wish to dedicate this great No.42 victory in Memorial to Zed. Who died in the line of duty this morning while returning from a successful strike deep in enemy territory. As Zed's FE2b approached the front lines he was jumped from above by 3 patrolling Albatross aircraft. Overwhelmed by their fast and vicious attack his plane was soon sent in a smoking plunge to it's end. While one Albatross had wrought most of the destruction the other two, like relentless, bloodthirsty, sharks pursued his craft to the ground. One of those evil Bosch who mercilessly poured lead into him all the way to the ground was noted to have sported a fluffy tail. Gentlemen, this is the evil we fight against.

A toast, to the memory of a fine hero!

He ain't dead! He was feigning death after a successful run on spotting way behind the Boche lines, one recce plane headed back and the two N17 escorts got lost and couldn't find me to protect me, go figure, the recce spot was located on the map with a big X, bicycle pilots, I tell ya. Sure missed you guys up there, although it looks like the same problems previously encountered will still be encountered in this one.... SS if I had my dual guns like they had promised you would have a very very Holy unfluffy tail right now, it did take all three of you to take me down though, stupid AI gunner had so many targets he kept getting confused.....

My contribution to the Airplane factory shots!

A "base buster" might just be the wrong tool for the job of 4 trucks, but it got the job done anyway! The official transcript to Trenchard's office will state that the bombs went long of their target and struck enemy vehicles adjacent to the factory due to a manufacturing defect in the bombsite. Sadly, the bombsite took a flak hit and won't be able to be sent back for analysis.

Well hats off to you for surviving that vertical impact!  I followed you down shooting the whole way just in case you were faking it.  Got 16% hits too.  Big Grin

Maybe the guns oversight occurred when they had to prewarm your engines.  They were only supposed to accidentally lock your fuel at 100% and tie 50 lb. anchors to the tails.

And don't be too hard on your escorts.  It took a lot of bribes to get their tea spiked.  Your guys kept drinking the supplies for the job.  ....and they might have thought the mission was a bust after your commander transmitted it in the clear.  We  I love you your commander.  Smile  such a talkative friendly guy. Big Grin
