TS Refresh on the Portal Page

When checking to see who is on TS, you need to hit the refresh again (even though you just entered the 42 server). Otherwise, it just displays who was on the last time you were on. That's right...those guys you saw on TS all night and the next day were not really there. Salute

This is correct. Cobraj used to provide real time but it became too expensive mostly in bandwidth but in bucks too.

I agree with him. the best way if you're thinking about flying is to launch the TS3 App. I have searched online for a different method but nothing!

Hello all,

Don't know if this would be what you're looking for or not. Depending on what access we have to the html code on this forum, the refresh code below would be placed in the header section of the page.

(part of the tag has been left out so it shows in this post)

This would automatically refresh the page every 300 seconds, the 'seconds' variable can be changed to whatever you'd like.
Anyway, just a thought.

Hi Duff,

Yes, the (< and >) were left out, correct.

This code would go at the very top of the page, and you could paste it in right after the 'head' tag code. On the next line in fact (see pic)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The code would refresh the whole page, not sure if that would be what you want or not.

Ok, no access to the whole page per se, so I create widgets to make the portal page. I will show you the widget code for TS3.

Okay, sounds good Duff, that code would only go at the top of the page in the 'head' section. So we might have to think on it a bit. :)

The guys still need to know that the TS list will still be outdated unless they manually refresh OR wait 30 secs. (after getting in the Portal page).

Yes, Again thanks to Maple we're working on an alternative that might refresh each time you enter tyhe page....stay tuned for next episode of: 'Stump the Programer' LOL!
