Sorry YOKE, I too have been there and done that. Your words are true. Bogey was with us for 16+ years and he was MY dog. An awesome family member, raised with the kids but when the day was done, he was my dog. Everyone said, "Get another one". Not a chance, he is not replaceable. I can pet a dog for a bit, but it soon becomes unpleasant as I have missed Bogey every single day for 17 years.
Peace brother, all dogs go to heaven. Spell it backwards Dog=God. So who was taking care of who?

| My condolences at the loss of your dear friend. That really sucks. I know from our conversations that Niki was well loved, and I'm sure gave every ounce of that love back, and more. You were both blessed to have each other. |
