Don't print 4 yet, the south German Guns did not get placed on Butz's map...I will send him a note

B=bridges

S=ships

AG/GG=allied guns/German guns

AS/GS=allied supply depot/German supply depot

Balloons are ovals near supply/guns

HQ's unlocated at this time.

Tango/Delta KP - 4  (WSW Oudezeele air field)

Uniform/Bravo KP - 6

Kilo/Alpha KP - 1

Oscar/Bravo KP - 7

HQ's will likely be in a different place on Map B, but the good news is there's only two maps, so once we know them, their positions don't change.

For Map A the enemy HQ's were at: 
  1. YB-8
  2. OD-2
  3. ID-1
  4. JB-7

Last night Ship3 was not located where these map indicate.  Has there been a revision?

Also, I am at a loss on how you guys are referencing the grids. I must have missed that class. I know the number is keypad, but the letters ... confused 
Can someone enlighten me, please.

On these maps the Sectors are Letters i.e. ABC. Usually, the Sectors are numbers i.e. 123.

Each sector is broken into 4 quadrants which we Decided to refer to as Alpha, Beta, Charlie, Delta.

This works:
Alpha - upper left
Beta upper right
Charlie lower left
Delta lower right

Now overlay the Key Pad in each quadrant Alpha thru Delta - Using keypad numbers: 1 thru 9.


Example; in most online maps we would call our 'Posit' (Position) as: Sector: 21, Grid: Charlie, Keypad 5. or, 21, Charlie, 5.

These maps use ABC's so our airbase, LALOVIE is in Sector: Lima (L), Charlie (C), Keypad 2 or spoken on comms: L, C, 2.

Flat, I updated the Maps and renamed them Session 1 and Session 2 so they match Butz's maps and mission files

For those that chased the Headquarters buildings, if you could confirm that this matches your recollection that would b great.

Not sure if it warrants making a stink about it, but take a good look at the Session 2 map and compare it to Session 2 on the FiF website. Everything has been pretty signficantly re-arranged. Pretty clear Butz redesigned the mission after the map was issued and never corrected it. guessing it was an inadvertant error.

If folks were using icons in the game map to navigate they were fine, but if you used my map or Butzell's map in session two, would have been pretty tough

We haven't actually flown the Map B yet...are you saying the original map which I have done all my graphics on and which you based your hi-res on has been changed on their site?

Got a note from Butzell and he said he will be posting Session 3 and Session 4 maps today. I will make two new hi res maps once he does that. Just a bit frustrating that the Session 2 Map was very different from the Session 2 mission file.
