Recommend using J2Parazaine skin for the pups if we enter the server and find the sky overcast.

Convoys always seem to spawn next to a town that either has spires, cranes, or factory smokestacks present.  Recommend looking for them on the roads leading directly away from a large town or city.

Most of the time the train spawns on and travels down the track running through the center of the Central territory.

Confirmed that line of AAA guns on the trenches runs all the way to the edge of the map in the south.  In the north it runs along the shoreline as well but there is a safe place to cross with wheels in the grass.  The airfield Mariakerke in Whiskey - Alpha - Two, if you fly between the hangers you should pass safely.

While I'm not against using any skin available to us, I would say no if there is any squadron marking on them or if we are fighting that squad at the moment.

Interesting. Where are you getting this info from? We have not found a convoy yet in this scenario. Is this based on previous JG1 builds or what can be found in online servers?

Same question as above: we've found a train once in three plays in this tournament.

Didn't notice any squad marks. It's a solid grey paint with roundels. Actually looks quite nice.

I ran the last map several times (not full duration) for the intention of finding intel about the train and convoy. I didn't always locate the exact position of the convoy but my server has external views enabled. pirat And when I viewed the Hun tanks they always had a town just behind them with a bunch of spires, cranes, or smoke stacks visible.

I always found the train. Only once did I have to go off the center rail to find it.

Also the detection radius of the balloons is about 1/2 grid.

If you ever see a ring of AAA spawn around your base there is an enemy very close.

Also I now have a good deal of experience following train tracks and staying below treetop level more than 90% of the time, in a Pup. Which is much more difficult on the channel map. I even learned to dodge the AAA... until they spawned right next to the tracks... on the side of the tracks that I was flying... I was close enough to read their lips... and one of them said "say cheese"

Well, that's gaming the game a bit, but I'd have to say the other side is probably well versed in these things that you are finding out by virtue of the fact that they are building them.
