So just got back from a nice long road trip with the spousal unit. Stopped in at the Air Museum in Tillamook, OR and they had a 7/8 Nieuport 11. Actual flying model. Looked like it had a Rotax 912 in it.

Wow and I thought the full sized N11 was tiny! Someone built and flew that? How can you be big enough to build it and small enough to get in it?

Actually its not that small, Glider is really is 8 feet tall.

Well of course Gold. My dad was flight engineer on the Canadian version Canso out of Iceland. Their squadron took down 4 uboats. Bombers yes!

I was there in March. There's a rotary engine, I think the same one found in the N11, just to the left as you go in. Had to stare at it for awhile. Nice museum.

Wasn't room in the garage and he has a phobia of 3/4.

Lost all but his 7/8 wrench.
