With the latest updates we were given the N17 .C1 GBR
Utilizing the KISS paint style ...no colors just a main theme to have in the 42nd hangar...
I offer this to you all....

Would like to get it to duff4r before he finalizes and submits our CP pack...but...
I don't have a n17brit or n17 c1 GBR folder in my planes list... this skin was placed inside the standard n17 folder so I could get a pic... the gun is definitely wrong...
maybe they place it in the correct spot to be used in game after approval ? hmmm

That's odd. I have a folder titled Nieuport17Brit.

Do you have skins available in game for the N17 GBr?


As for the squad paints. Aside from really enjoying the separate flight colors, they have utilitarian advantages as well. However, if were going to go with one paint for the plane please let it be dark green. It's a very significant advantage in combat.

Gorgeous! I can't answer any of your questions, but this is really classy looking. Esp like the motto, but I admit I'd really like to see a Red and Blue stripe around the white box.

Do you have the v1.030 official skins? I wonder if that created a folder for the GBR. I have not successfully dL'd it yet so I can't answer definitively.

I will do a stripe around the white box to still have the flight colors ,it's not a drastic change from the picture above.

Those particular tactics can be summarized as "Sending my squad into battle against an overwhelmed enemy while I circle around looking for a kill to vulch, or a newb that's an easy mark."


But the other side of that is the ease being able to pick out a wingman in a fight. The bright plane with the tracers converging on it.

I like what you have here Yoke... the lighter colour vs. the dark green, The darker colour I feel would be for the tree top battle where the dark green would really be an easy one to pick up high. This plane should be thought of as a high flier even though more times than not we end up ground level.

For what it's worth...my take.

We have set the stage for ALL ENTENTE' aircraft. We will maintain consistency. This can be a personal skin.

Oddly, when we started skinning this is the type of skin I was thinking of...not the big bold band that I have now come to love.

I would personally like a bolder stripe around the white box and I think 'Bravely Into Action' is best on the right side with the pilots 'nose art'.

Don't get me wrong YOKE, this is excellent and I love the Tan skins.

Apologies...I do have to get going on the skins again but I have a lot on my plate ATM. Yeah, even retired, you get busy. Seems I volunteer to 'help' until I need some myself :-) Ahhh well, It's all good!

This from someone who gets most of his kills flying Opposition Force shooting down lower ranking squad members. WTG and make us feel real good. Can't we confine this guy to an unarmed E III?

Now I do agree with the stage we set for entente color schemes so, my next questions would be...
1) Make this N17brit as the rest of our ententes ( would look just like the N17C1 striping we have now , but in tan)

2) Hold these files for a personal skin and add that persons preferences to it when the time comes .

3) Ignore the man behind the curtain and use the stock paints for the N17brit

I know, it's like, magic.
